This is my successful image because I thought I used leading lines well in the photo, Both railings lead your eyes across the photo and help draw in the viewer's eyes. I thought that it was a different perspective than what I normally see which is also why I thought it was my most successful image. The most challenging aspect of this assignment was studying the professional photographer's photos and deciding in what way should I include the aspects of the photo into my own photo. In the future to create stronger images I will use different lighting to get the emotion I want in the photo. I would want to create more shadows and less light from all directions.

I love your photo! I am drawn to your image because tog the perspective that you were able to give in the photo by leading the looker up the stairs. I think with the angle that you used it created a very compelling image. I think that the exposure, contrast, and color saturation all work together well for the image. To make the image more appealing I would change it so that the image itself was leveled.
Matt Poshusta,
I love the diagonal guidelines created by your photograph. I also love the feeling of unbalance created by the slight camera tilt. In the future it could be beneficial to play around with more camera angles created by different perspectives.
Hi Jade,
You took nice photos for this assignment. I agree that your stairs photo was a successful image because it does display a kind of perspective you normally wouldn't pay attention to. However, I actually thought your best photo was the one you took of the board games and other miscellaneous items. I really like how you used the influence of color and messiness from the photographer's photo in your photo, but still showed your own creative style as well.
Hey Jade! The photo you chose for this assignment was very well done. The leading lines and lighting really make the photo draw you in. The photo is an interesting mix of the photographers style and yours. My only comment would be that the photographers photograph seemed to purposefully be very bright and open, and I feel like leaning into those shadows and the emphasis on the stairs might make it more different to the photographers work than intended. Overall, your photo has great emphasis and you did a good job doing what you wanted to. Well done!

Hey Jade!
I love your photos! I especially love the lighting in the stair photo where it goes from having bright light to the top of the stairs where there is almost no light and shadows. I do wish there was something else your eye's could be drawn to like in the professional photos there is a lamp, an old phone, and photos on the wall. I think adding another aspect might bring your piece more alive. Good Job!
